I have LG 8316, I do not have the any problem with it. It's been one year with me. Noise is small, only if you are going to burn with 52X speed...... Most cd-r and cd-rw disks I use that I do not have any bad discs......( I use cheapest discs suck like made in china.... So far so good!!
