在DVD write tests最下面有一段話

The main focus here is write quality. The DVR-108 will determine what the highest write speed would be in order to maintain high quality. In fact, this drive will actually drop write speeds if it finds that it is not suitable for high quality writing. This will maintain high quality writing, which after all, is much more important that write speed.

照其說法,燒錄機會隨時檢查碟片的品質,並決定最合適的燒錄倍速.如此說來,要是遇到品質差的碟片,雖然M Code出現可以12-16x燒錄的選項,但是最後的燒錄速度是依據其牒片品質而定.
