Yes you can record with LiteOn LVW5001 and Philips DVDR75.

燒好的影片存入電腦剪輯是否方便?!
將vob直接用Ulead Media Studio或Adobe Premiere編輯後另存檔再燒錄，
是否會發生影音不同步或是需花大量時間重新編碼(格式是否屬於標準DVD格式)?!
With Philips DVDR75 you can edit cut select title page etc on the recorder. If you burn from start to end without stop, you can rip your recorded to your hard disk with DVD Shrink and then use DVD Shrink to cut any scene you don't want. Very easy.

本人想買DVD錄影機，目的不是為了錄電視節目，
而是為了轉存百來捲的錄影帶，

Liteon的lvw5001已到9仟多元，很想買一台來轉存這批錄影帶，
每年花精神來保存這些錄影帶很是麻煩，
如果Liteon的lvw5001轉錄的畫質能夠跟原錄影帶的畫質差不多，
這些錄影帶就可以拿去丟了。
LiteOn LVW5001 picture quality (PQ) at 4-hour mode has the same quality of a good 1st hand VHS. There is no particular advantage with 2-hour mode or 1-hour mode in picture quality.
請問這台Liteon lvw5001用最高畫質HQ模式轉錄錄影帶的訊號，
是否這9.5 Mpbs的畫質能否很接近原本錄影帶的畫質?!
本人原先是用Sony DV的AV to DV功能將錄影帶影片存成無壓縮的avi，
再用軟體壓縮成約8000畫素的mpeg2再燒錄成DVD，
這樣子做非常花時間，如果這台Liteon lvw5001也能做到相當畫質，
那麼用它來轉這百來捲錄影帶，就算轉完就壽終正寢，也是值得。
Yes, you will be extremely happy with the PQ to use 5001 to record your VHS tapes with 4-hour mode. But there is no editing feature at all compared with Philips DVDR75. Pls be reminded that PC software may have problems to rip the DVD+RW recorded to your hard disk if you record and stop more than one time, i.e. 2 thumbnails in a menu.
暫時不考慮內附硬碟的DVD錄影機，
因為剪輯影片，還是電腦方便。
