How can I use higher resolutions in Need for Speed III? I cannot choose any resolutions higher than 800x600. How do I fix this?
1. Delete the voodoo2a.dll in your NSF3 root folder.
2. Rename d3da.dll to voodoo2a.dll, also these in the NFS3 root folder.
3. Set the command line of your NFS3 shortcut to "nfs3.exe -voodoo2".
4. Download and run this reg-file to use Triple Buffer. You may also need to set the Z-buffer bit depth to "16,24".
5. Run NFS3 and choose the resolution of your choice.
Also recommended is the use of the newest driver set.
