I have no idea which C derivatives you've learned, but if you want to use the .NET Framework . . . C# is the best choice.
MCAD is the stepping stone towards to the MCSD.
There are some important aspects that you must pay more attentions when becoming a certificate pursuer.
1. The ability to read/learn the information from the official reference.
It should be masterful enough.
2. Be more proactively, especially in searching the related technical supports.
