Probably the firmware can recognize whether it is running on original 811S or OC'd 411S. Hackers said they need more time to break this protection. It is also mentioned there, that the elektronics and the laser is the same in 811S like in 411S.

Alright people, what do you thing? If we collect all the pieces we read here or elsewhere, like finding string "411S" in 811S' firmware..., this could point to an existence of some kind of (software) protection...
