The problem is a result of a feature that reduces idle acoustic noise in desktop drives. This feature may cause a timeout likely (though not exclusively) in an IDE RAID environment. To disable the feature, you can run a simple Western Digital utility to turn off a single bit in the drive𠏋 run-time configuration. Disabling of this feature will NOT impact normal system operations. No firmware or hardware changes are required.

稍微翻一下,
WD EIDE硬碟在經過幾天或幾週正常工作後會從系統或IDE RAID中"消失"

跟我遇到的情形完全相同...

這個大家應該都看的懂.
所以建議大家在受影響之列的不要懷疑的更新下去吧!
以我自己為例,有時要在系統正常工作一周之後才會出現
所以一般人如果沒有開機這麼久是很難發現吧.
