The French website called 3D Chips discovered a rendering bug with 3DMark 2001 SE when using the new drivers, a GeForce FX 5600, GeForce FX 5200 or GeForce4 Ti4600 and 4X FSAA and 8X Anisotropic Filtering. In the Dragothic test, the dragon isn't being displayed. This could be classified as a clipping type error or bug. It could also be a result of buggy cheating code, couldn't it? But then there would be cheating in every test as the GeForce4 Ti4600 has always had a healthy lead before the Radeon 9700 Pro came out. This is happening three different nVidia cards.

Can't you see that it although might be a bug (I never say it could never be), but during this time of the hot debate of the 3DMark03 cheating, the render prob. of 3DMark2001 SE might be bit of "suspicious", "doubtable". That's it.
While the spotlight is on the 3DMark03 issue now,
a new doubt has emerged. This will only make NV and its new Detonator FX even more questionable.
