There was no deletion of a major sub plot (a la Aliens, The Abyss) so the movie won't end up an hour longer, and the majority of the extra footage of the wreck will most likely end up as an extra. Now that Cameron's finished Ghosts of the Abyss, he's got the time to work on the Titanic SE. I don't like the fact that he mentions there may be two releases though (a 'regular' SE and a box set containing extra footage/documentaries etc). But if the public is made fully aware of both releases (like LOTR) then even that shouldn't be a probem.
