French Porn Star Karen Lancaume is one of the few hardcore performers to have actually made a splash in mainstream cinema. The fact that Karen Lancaume did so is more a result of good luck than any conscious effort to do so, though.

Karen Lancaume made her French porn debut in the mid-90s. A sultry brunette beauty with some luscious natural curves, her instantly arousing good looks made her a natural. Titled 'Baise Moi' -- 'Rape Me' in English -- the film starred Karen and Raffaela as embittered prostitutes who embark on a violent rampage. The heady combination of extreme violence and extreme sexuality shocked audiences worldwide.

It also turned Karen Lancaume into a French celebrity. She became the country's most famous -- if not infamous -- porn starlet almost literally overnight. Karen Lancaume has since backed away from her hardcore career, preferring to ride out her success in less raunchy fashion.
