I ordered from speakers from both AV123 and Axiom because I want to make sure that I am getting the best product for the amount of money I plan to spend. I don't want to be thinking "What if the other one is better than the one I have?" all the time. The best way to find out is to see or listen for yourself.

There are much more people in America who have home theater. Being a newbie in home theater realm, I could be deaf, but I don't think each and everyone of those owners are deaf. Of course MK and Velodyne make great products, but these two companies might not be better products in terms of "more bang for the buck". That's the reason whenever people inquire about subwoofers on those forums ( AVS and HTF ), SVS and HSU subs, not MK or Velodyne, are always recommended.

I am confident that my 5.1 speaker system, although costing just under US 1900, can out-perform most, if not all of those systems costing up to US 3500.

The reason I only need to set my Hsu Research VTF-2 at 8:30 is because the sub is very potent. My HT area is larger than most peoples but because the sub is so efficient, I am getting better results at much lower volume. Do you know that my VTF is only rated at "150 Watts" RMS??? It is 150 clean watts unlike the max watt which could be 400 or 500 watt claimed by other companies. Too bad you don't live in Colorado, otherwise you are welcome to come and audition my system. Trust me, you will be amazed by how good and how expensive they sound.
