B3-step CPUs are just fine, says AMD

Yesterday brought several online reports about problems with the new B3 stepping of AMD's quad-core processors. B3 is the new revision of the chip intended to correct the infamous TLB erratum. The rumors claimed AMD was having trouble with bugs in B3 and would have to do yet another spin of the silicon. If true, this news would be very bad indeed for a company that's already had more than its share of bad luck recently. But an AMD spokesman contacted us preemptively about the rumor with this statement:

Before you even ask… this is simply not true. B3 does fix the errata. End of story.
And thus, we hope, this story will soon end.

大意是說，有謠言指出K10的TLB Bug在B3 Stepping中仍舊無法獲得改善，但AMD發言人馬上對此做了以下的說明:
這問題沒有問的必要…這當然不是事實。B3 Stepping修正了TLB Bug的問題，故事結束。

所以啦，希望故事就這麼結束吧，小弟今年的目標就是Phenom啦!!

在競爭力下降的現在 , 所有不利的謠言對AMD的影響都很大 , 期待實品盡快上市以打斷惡質行銷手法 ~

希望是真的，小弟還打算買顆9100來玩呢 :stupefy:
不過AMD過去一年已經說過太多謊言了.....可信度都要打折 :think:

看對手的反應，原比我們猜測還要準。
只是看來沒有人喜歡這個答案。
