Dual Xoen VS LGA775
 

請問站上各位，如果改用成Dual Xoen跟升級成LGA775(925X晶片組，3.0G)所需要花的的費用差不多的話，請問大家會選哪一種呢?

Dual Xoen：2.8G*2；顯示卡：AIW9800P；記憶體：DDR400 512*2
再加主機板及POWER，總花費約38500

LGA775：3.0G；顯示卡：X600XT；記憶體：DDR2 512*2
再加主機板及POWER，總花費約38010
如用LGA775的話還要再買張電視卡(預算1500；要同有可看電視功能，不然第四台線就白接了)；38010+1500=39510

請大家不吝賜教

K8是比較好的選擇, IMHO

如果是依照樓主的問題回答的話...

如果只有這兩個選擇
我會選LGA 775
但是如果可以選K8 S939,那我會更建議K8
請注意,雙CPU只有在專業軟體的支援,或是您多工處理的情況,才會有效果

both xeon and p4 will have a newer version with 2mb of cache soon. (perhaps first quarter of next year) it should give some performance boost on the prescott core.

Dual cpu system is better in multi-tasking. you can encode dvd, using internet, burn cds.... at the same time. if that's how you are going to use the computer, 2 cpu is better than one. however, if you are going to use it to play games.. most games don't run any faster with the additional cpu.

我推xeon,多工的時候就會發覺它的效能了..

第一個吧, X600 = R9600XT Xtreme版.. 跟9800差遠了 (除了128bit的9800外)
