DVD+R "RW"
 

Can someone explain to me why DVD+R has "RW" words behind it? :confused:
It take me 5 months to find out DVD+R "RW" is NOT DVD+RW. :nonono:
No wonder I could not erase all those disks I bought. :cry:

"RW" logo is the trademark of DVD-Alliance , it means DVD+R
the "RW" logo + "ReWritable" word means DVD+RW

DVD Forum reserve (own) the DVD Logo.
And DVD Forum chose DVD-R standard other than DVD+R.
Yon can see DVD Logo only on DVD-R.
DVD+R have to chose anothor, "RW", as logo.
It confused me for a while before.
