Oxford 911 external box

Hi do anyone can help me because I got a liteon 411>811s in an external box
(1394+USB 2) box with Oxford chips
when I connect with USB 2.0 everything OK,
but when I connect though 1394, I only got a Oxford Removal device (can read and write) anything on it.
So anyone can tell me any idea or do I need the 1394 driver??

Thanks for everyone

so.....
Now, do you try to put other driver(HD or....)into the Box then connect with the IEEE1394.
I have one Oxford 911 1394 3.5" box.
I don't have any problem with connection.

The Oxford IEEE 1394 driver is build-in in Windows XP (also in Win98 too!). You don't need any driver for it. If there are both USB 2.0 & IEEE 1394 connections available, I prefer the IEEE 1394.

1394 does not require any driver under WinXP, Check your PC 1394 device. Make sure 1394 it is enable.

Hey,

If your burner's jumper was set as Mater, try set it as slave. I believe that will work.

Good luck to you!!

What's bland 1394 card do you use? I had test DOMEX 1394 card & Oxford 911, it can recording 7.8X fine, and I use DW800A recorder.

try to update the firmware of 911
in some cases the manufactures sets the type
of device if will accept to HD only.
