新版終極[美國派]DVD!
 

On July 31, 2001, Universal Studios Home Video is serving up the American Pie Ultimate Edition, a two-disc DVD featuring the film in three versions: Widescreen, Full Screen and DTS. The Ultimate Edition of the 1999 sleeper hit comedy contains six hours of bonus features. Included on the American Pie Ultimate Edition DVD is a sneak peak of the making of Universal Pictures' upcoming American Pie 2, and also the very first American Pie 2 theatrical trailer. The American Pie Ultimate Edition DVD will be available in both rated and unrated versions and priced at $29.98 suggested retail.

Each American Pie Ultimate Edition DVD will include an exclusive Universal Movie Cash instantly redeemable FREE ticket to see American Pie 2 which opens theatrically on August 10, 2001.

This makes the third time MovieCash will be included in Universal Studios Home Video DVD releases. Previously, The Mummy Ultimate Edition DVD featured MovieCash redeemable for the blockbuster theatrical hit, The Mummy Returns. On July 10th, The Jurassic Park DVD Collection will include MovieCash applicable for a free ticket to see Jurassic Park III, which opens theatrically July 18th. Universal Studios Home Video will support the release of the American Pie Ultimate Edition with a similar synergistic campaign which tags theatrical TV spots for American Pie 2 with information to consumers about the limited time MovieCash offer on the DVD.

Each American Pie Ultimate Edition DVD will include a widescreen, full screen and DTS version of the film. Features contained on the American Pie Ultimate Edition include:

A Sneak Peek at American Pie 2, Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Theatrical Poster Concepts, Photograph montage with director and producer commentary, DVD-Rom with script to scene, Potty Game, Spotlight on Location, Theatrical trailer, Feature commentary with director Paul Weitz, writer Adam Herz and cast, Music Highlights, Classic Quotes, Production Stills, Tonic Music Video, Tonic "Live" Performance, Potty Game, Recommendation Trailers

這片DVD info送的版本畫質就相當不錯了，也是寬螢幕的。(市面賣的三區是4:3的）前幾天拿出來再重看一次，真的還算蠻不錯看的。

我比較在意的是那個「unrated 」版本，不知多加啥畫面？而且這種片也能弄成dts....:D

太多DVD都在玩這種把戲了~~

看來這部DVD也是遵照The Mummy模式，追加一個dts+six hours of bonus features版本，發燒友的錢真是永遠噱不完的~~~:D

當年一區DVD第一版發行就已經有兩個版本了，剛好有機會我都看了，個人印象中是沒有什麼太大的差別.....

印象比較深刻的是，普通版的Jim在玩蘋果派那一段，他爸爸看到的是他把蘋果派掛在傢伙上，而Unrated版本是，Jim把蘋果派放在流理台上，正作著「活塞運動」時，被他老爸看到..........:D

喔∼原來是那一段，我記得看預告片裡有看到。

幸好這部片我是覺得看過就好,頭沒燒壞,錢倒是少了省了不少!!

根據在強笙網站查詢發現，今年至明年有計畫要「再撈一票」的DVD有許多，最近要買DVD前請多多考慮考慮，不要才買沒多久又看到一個特別版問世，然後把自己氣到內傷了~~~~~
