change driver name, reboot and then open
check again DAEMON installation, you should see a choice (not selected by default) of Expert mode installation .

If you select this mode you will have the choice of drivers name .

這是我在daemon forum上看到的答案
請問一下
有人知道該怎麼change driver name嗎?

this method only works under Win2K, XP not for Win9X.
1. windows-E call file explorer
2. right click on my computer icon, exploere, open, search and "manage"
3. click on manage and computer management will popup
4. take a close look at the left side window, find > Storage > Disk Management,
5. right click on the drive you want to change name and a submenual will popup
6. left click on the item > change drive letter and path
7. another submenual will popup it has four choices add, edit, remove, close
8. click on edit and "Edit drive letter or path" window will popup
9. it will ask you assign a drive letter to this drive (usually from D to Z)
10. If you have more than 26 logic drives, I believe there will be no letter left for the new drive.
11. However, you can still click on "change drive letter and path", insteading of click on "Edit" (hay no letter left, remember?) this time you should chose "Add". The "Add" botton will "mount this logic drive under NTFS folder". In other words, the new drive is no longer a logic drive but a sub-directory under NTFS system. In this way you can break the A~Z limitation, but you can not access this disk under Win9X or DOS which doesn't directly support NTFS.

It is time to backup some data and merger several small logic drive to a single drive. For disk management - the less is the better.

Good luck
