I more or less recommed only a few Monsoon models. Of all the ones I've heard, MM-1000 performed best for its money. I find MM-7xx(the higher of the 700s line) to be a bit lacking compared to MM-1k.

These are really nice speakers, and IMHO are musically better than any of the Altecs I've heard.(These being ADA885/890, 641)

I highly recommend them, but take note that they are VERY DIRECTIONAL!

well, I think it's ok since I already bought Altec 251, thanks for your reply anyway.

I am trying to do some run in right now, cause everyone says is good for speakers....

The sound card I am using right now is SB Live value, I think I might purchase an A or A2...not too sure which one.
