對於有些人受了電玩或是其他什麼影響 , 有了先入為主的觀念後來批評改編"魔戒原著"的論點 , 敝人頗不以為然 , 魔戒原著比這些都要早 , 如"甘道夫真沒用" , "半獸人真差"...... 去玩電動比較快 ,你就可以看到法師炫麗的魔法 , 半獸人的威猛 , 都被設計師設定的好好的 ....

魔戒的出現一開始就只是要創造屬於英倫三島的創世神話,況且托爾金的寫法又比較接近床邊故事,講白一點,魔戒與龍槍,一個是神話,一個是工具書,共同的一點,其劇情都有可觀之處,拍成電影是將原來的文字影像化,巫師.哈比人.半獸人...這些不難拍,難的是把電影拍的能跟原著相提並論,你可以只看電影,但不看小說就不能說是看過魔戒,看過小說才知道為什麼過了這麼多年才有人拍電影,只看過"魔戒電影"的不能說是看過"魔..戒"
