R1 即將發行《撕裂地平線》 - Event Horizon (Special Collector's Edition) 雙碟版!!

http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=60202 Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Event Horizon (Special Collector’s Edition) for 18th April 2006 priced at $19.99 SRP. From director Paul Anderson this sci-fi horror starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill finally receives the Special Edition treatment it has long been rumoured for… Unfortunately for now, features on this two-disc set are TBC, but you can see the artwork below.

舊版沒有 "橫向壓縮" (Anamorphic), 新版規格雖然尚未公佈, 但是, 應該有 "橫向壓縮"~

其實台灣出的老版 DD 5.1 我已經很滿意了....如果新發 "酥破 B"有
DTS 音效我的購買意願比較高。 這部電影內容感覺四平八穩該有的東西都有了...不時我還會調出來觀賞 |

Because it had been so long since I’d seen the movie, I just started watching the film and enjoying it, and didn’t remember to say anything. And after like an hour and a half I’d said about 10 minutes of stuff. So that was an important lesson to me because if I end up doing that again, I should watch the movie a few times beforehand. Otherwise you just get bound up in watching the film. So it was a rather expensive way to watch the movie!” “The movie has become such a huge cult hit,” Anderson says. “Paramount has sold so many DVDs of it that they’ve offered to do the fully-fledged ‘You can reintegrate the scenes and we’ll pay for it to be remixed and everything’ version. The problem has been actually finding all of the materials because it’s been quite a long time, so we’re still at the point where we’re trying to decide if it makes sense to do a director’s cut or whether [we should just include] a lot of deleted material with a separate commentary explaining why it was taken out and where the scenes would have gone. Or we may do a branching version of the DVD so you can see where those scenes may have sat.”
