MGM Home Entertainment has also announced a new special edition of Species which stars Michael Madsen and Natasha Henstridge. This Roger Donaldson directed film will be available to own from the 19th October this year, and should retail at around $14.95. As well as a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen presentation, the disc will include both English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and DTS 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include an audio commmentary by Director Roger Donaldson and Actors Michael Madsen and Natasha Henstridge, a second Audio Commentary with Director Roger Donaldson, Producer Frank Mancuso, Visual Effects Supervisor Richard Edlund and Creature and Special Make-Up Effects Creator Steve Johnson, a sneak peek at Species III and the original theatrical trailer.
